Now for the Outlaw class. These sleds are fastest and most expensive sleds at any race. They are bringing the sport to new heights with their record times and wild appearance. These are not sleds you can hop on and take for a trail ride. They sit low to the ground and have a ton of lightweight parts. They make it so national networks might start looking into the sport which will only be great for the sport. That can mean more sponsorship funds and an increase in everything that is involved in this industry. Back to the racing! This class had some surprising upsets and an even more shocking final race. First for the qualifying, Ryan Ensor (Flyin’ Ryan) put down a record pass for 500 ft at 3.44 sec and 154.64 mph. That is just crazy he crushed the past record which was just set in September at Hay Days by Kelly Shilts (Machine Gun Kelly) on Red Cup Racing’s Agent Orange. The final came down to Ryan Ensor and Jimmy McHugh which in itself is a surprise but it just goes to show you that anything can happen in racing. Ryan Ensor on Trouble Maker from Dynamite Racing took home the victory.
I am glad I got to attend this event and bring you all the info and results. After a 10-year drought of racing at the Seneca Falls Super Track, I feel the track will have a very positive future. I would also like to say job well done to all the racers and their teams. To the staff of the event: this took so much to do and do safely. I will be looking forward to more events at this track with more records broken. For pictures from the event please check out JJ’s Outlaw Photography.
