Over the past couple of seasons Arctic Cat engineers have made refinements to the suspension and body of the Mountain Cat that has allowed it to become much more competitive.
If these improvements continue, Cat may once again regain its position as the top mountain snowmobile. It has a strong engine package. Its track works great. It’s looking lean and mean … but still needs to find a way to shed 25-plus lbs. to make weight in the Mountain class.
Cat has come a long way in a short time. Now it’s a matter of mixing the best of what it has with new technology to vault it back to the front.
