ISOC National Snocross Lands In Jackson

December 2017 Feature Lane Lindstorm Web Exclusive

Borrowing snow from Teton Pass along with man-made snow from the snow guns at Snow King Resort, the Amsoil Championship Snocross powered by Ram Trucks staged its first-ever national snocross in Jackson, WY.

Staged at the bottom of Exhibition Run—yes, that Exhibition Run that was made famous in snowmobile hillclimb circuits at the annual World Championship Snowmobile Hillclimb—the third round of national snocross racing saw Tucker Hibbert come from behind for this third Pro win of the season and Jake Yurk handily win Pro Lite. Both those finals were held under the lights on a frigid Friday night in Jackson.

Fans were treated to a lot of racing on Friday, from the newly created 200 Stock class to Pro Am Women to Pro Lite to Sport to Sport Lite to even a class for snowbikes. To ensure there was enough snow for the race, race organizers trucked in snow from nearby Teton Pass to supplement the man-made snow from Snow King Resort’s massive snow makers.

Race results can be found at www.snocross.com. Here is a look back at today’s action. Yes, it’s a lot of pictures but we took more than 1,000 so here are a few of our favorites.
