Finally!!! We are all getting a chance to start up the sleds, get a thick exhaust aroma going, and walk around with our helmets on listening to some old school AC/DC (preferably Thunderstruck).
What? That’s not what everyone is doing? Well that’s my winter pre-game!
Whatever your new-season ritual is, we are cool with it! An old group of friends I have all keep their sleds in a buddy’s barn. Every fall about this time, they all go the same weekend and get everything ready for the season. Each year the ceremonial “gentlemen, start your engines” is yelled and everyone starts their sleds up, somewhat simultaneously. It is pretty corny, but definitely fun!
Maybe your pre-season ceremony has a little less fanfare and involves some good old one-on-one time with your son, daughter, or significant other. For many of us though, this is a special occasion and skipping it is as shameful as missing your sister’s wedding… unless, you miss the wedding to work on your sled, that is totally ok.
In any case, it will only be a few short weeks until many “yard burners” are out there aerating their grass, sliding over the first hints of white gold on the ground. We are as excited as you are and can’t wait to get out on our new fleet of 2018 long-term demo sleds. We’ll be breaking them in shortly and we hope to see you out on the trails soon!
