What the heck is it?
The Motorfist Trophy Pullover is a modern take on the “Pull-over” style jackets popular in the 90’s and 2000’s. Crammed with modern technology like eVent waterproof/windproof/breathable membrane, full light weight ripstop nylon waterproof shell, YKK zippers, and striking good looks, this jacket is guaranteed to turn some heads on the mountain or race track!

What’s it do?
The Trophy Pullover is engineered to keep the rider as comfortable as possible while providing protection from all the elements the mountain can throw at you. Wind, rain, snow, trees, the Trophy Pullover takes them all in strides.
What Stands out?
Our favorite features on Motorfist’s Trophy Pullover were how light this jacket is, the vibrant orange color, and the front pocket. The Ripstop Nylon offers a light weight soft shell that is almost comparable to something like a t-shirt. You slip this thing on and almost forget you’re wearing it. Being as light as it is, we were surprised to find out it held up in the trees and the cold weather. We do recommend layering on the very cold days though. The vibrant orange color looks so awesome on any sled and makes it very easy to spot a rider in the trees or low light conditions. The HUGE front pocket is awesome. You can stuff all kinds of stuff in there. We liked to keep our light weight tree riding gloves in there for a quick swap.
Where does it fall short?
Although we loved this pullover it does fall short in a few areas. We noticed the powder skirt works best with Motorfist’s pants as it snaps directly to the pants for a “one piece” feel. While wearing it with other brand pants the powder skirt was too baggy or loose to create a solid seal allowing snow to get in. Additionally, the wrist gators had way too much bulk and became somewhat of a nuisance throughout the day.
What’s The Verdict?
A lot of people swear by the pullover, and it’s easy to see why. They are just so comfortable. We are amazed how light Motorifst was able to make this thing, it feels like something that would be more at home as a casual piece rather than something to protect you in the mountains, but any time we can get street wear type comfort while riding in the mountains we’ll take it! If you’re tired of stiff zippers on your chest and bulky jackets this Trophy Pullover could be the ticket for you. Excellent for spring riding and aggressive riders that generate a lot of heat.
