Product Review: SuperGlide II Wide

September 2016 Product Tests, Feature

Any snowmobiler knows the value of a good carbide on a packed trail. But that same carbide can wreak havoc on a trailer bed.

But thanks to SuperClamp, you can keep your carbide sharp for the trails and not fight them or have them tear up your trailer floor.

SuperClamp has introduced the SuperGlide II Wide ski glides that allow your snowmobile to slide across your trailer floor while protecting the integrity of your ski carbides. The SuperGlide II Wide panels are 13.5 inches wide and feature specially designed traction knobs. Not only does this make the plastic panels more user friendly, but it allows for traction for wheeled vehicles.

They are designed with exclusive venting to help eliminate moisture being trapped under the panels that could result in damage to the surface of the trailer. The larger width allows mover versatility in the ever-changing ski widths. Traction grips are also available for snowmobile tracks so you don’t spin out on your ramp or trailer floor.

Each order contains eight 29.5-inch by 13.5-inch glides that will cover 20 linear feet. The SuperGlide II Wide retails for $164.95.

SuperClamp also offers cross bar protectors for aluminum ramps used to load snowmobiles. Not only does it provide a glide surface for skis, it has traction grips for ATVs.
