Wyoming State Snowmobile Association Turns 50, Celebrations In Dubois

Industry News

Dubois, WYTogwotee Pass and the Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail attract countless snowmobilers from near and far to Wind River Country/Fremont County each year. But this weekend is particularly special, marking the 50th anniversary of the Wyoming State Snowmobile Association (WSSA).

The WSSA annual Fun Days will take place March 4-6. This year the association chose Dubois, the gateway to world-class snowmobiling, to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The WSSA strives to protect, improve and enjoy snowmobiling in Wyoming.

“The Riverton Sno-Goers along with the Dubois Sno-Katers and the Lander Snowdrifters would like to invite you to join us as we celebrate 50 years of snowmobiling in Fremont County,” the WSSA website announces.

The weekend affair will include a variety of skill levels of rides on Togwotee Pass, the opportunity to browse Dubois Museum Wind River Historical Center and the eye-opening National Bighorn Sheep Interpretive Center and general fun gatherings in addition to a WSSA meeting.

The event will celebrate the many years of snowmobiling and the tradition that goes with it. It’s not too late to join in the celebration. For registration and questions, contact Ken at (307) 851-6515 or Michelle at (307)-349-4640 or rivertonsnogoers@gmail.com. You can also visit http://snowmobilewyoming.org.
