fixing belt slippage

Amsnow
Q I am looking for some suggestions to overcome my belt slipping issue. I run an improved 700 with a TRA primary and Ski-Doo secondary. I have run this sled for a few years and just started having this problem. The only thing I have changed when it started was my ramps. It is a bit more of an aggressive shift out of the hole. When it grabs the sled goes great, but it only does about one out of five times. I run a Ski-Doo belt. I think it is a 066. Is there a better belt to run or something else I should look at?

A I shim the end of the fixed sheave on the TRA to put the roller further up the ramp. It’s the same principle as a spider shim on a Polaris or Micro. – That Girl Racing
