Need reinforcements
Q I’m in the process of building a 4-cylinder 1700 with 100 hp shot NOS race sled. My chassis is a 2004 Polaris edge. I got the rear tunnel separated and extend to a 164-inch track. What I’m looking for from you big Pro Stock guys is, will this chassis be able to handle that much power? – zackster
A Straightline Performance built a 1333cc 4-cylinder with nitrous in that exact chassis and ran it on the asphalt in 2005-07, winning the AmSnow Open Shootout with this machine in 2007. Using extensive chassis bracing and attention to detail on all items during installation, this project should be capable of working. – Jason Houle, Straightline Performance
