“The Polaris 550 handles steep and sharp turns with ease. Even on icy trails it turns with very little darting. The suspension was a bit bumpy when hitting moguls on the trails. But, once you hit the lake this sled picks up and goes smoothly. Being a lighter rider, it had plenty of power. On a comfort level it does have some snags. The engine is louder than most of today’s sleds. In addition, this sled is cold. When it dips below zero, the small windshield can make it chilly on the hands and inside the helmet.” – Christie Green, Assistant Editor
