After 37 years with Yamaha Motor Corp., Jim Gentz, president of Yamaha Motorsports Group retired July 1. No replacement was immediately announced.
In his position, Gentz oversaw nearly a decade of sales increases and steady market share growth in Yamaha motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, generator and accessories business. He said he believes Yamaha, based in Cypress Calif., has a qualified and enthusiastic team in place.
Now, Gentz said, he plans to "become an active 'Yamaha test rider' using all the exciting products we have had so much fun developing
