The rest of the new lineupWhile Phazer fills a niche at the bottom of Yamaha's lineup, giving it solid lines of 80-, 120- and 150-horse sleds, the Japanese sledmaker also fills other gaps in its lineup for '07.
Other new sleds, all with a new snow flap, include:
• Attak GT is a limited build premium rough-trail performance sled based on the Attak with its 136-inch track, but adds the Ohlins monoshock push-button controlled rear suspension that debuted last year on the Apex GT. There are still GYT-R piggyback clicker front shocks and the Genesis 150 engine. Attak GT is offered in either black and chrome or red. Price is $11,499.
• RS Rage GT is Yamaha's premium all-purpose sled with a Gensis 120 engine and reverse standard. Underneath is the Mono Shock RA 136 rear suspension that features a single shock and coil spring to control travel. It's got the piggyback clickers up front too for easy adjustment. Rage GT also adds a handlebar bag, DC outlet and comes in black and chrome. Price is $9,199.
• RS Venture GT is a premium two-up tourer and features the same clicker shocks up front and the ProComfort rear suspension with aluminum HPG shocks. It adds a bar bag and comes in black and chrome. Price is $9,599.
• Apex Mountain SE comes in a bright candy red and runs the powerful Genesis 150 engine. Its track is the big 16- x 162-incher with 2.25-inch lugs. The sled features Fox float shocks up front, a new taller bar with hooks and a strap. Price is $11.299.
• The Apex RTX also is updated with a ProActive CK rear suspension with 20 clicker settings for the damping. No weight was added. There's also a new low windshield, yellow hand deflectors, plus yellow-tinted halogen headlights. RTX remains black with Backdraft red and yellow graphics. Price is $10,299.
In addition, most of the sleds also come with a variety of new graphics or color combinations for 2007, plus that new snow flap. There's also a new mid-height windshield on the Apex GT.
