Recently Woody's Performance of Tompsham, Maine, tested their new stock Yamaha Nytro - retrofitted with an asphalt drag set-up - on the tar at New England Dragway in Epping, N.H.
The mostly stock Nytro - which will be appearing at the AmSnow/Torco Fuels Shoot-Out in Martin, Mich., on September 22nd and 23rd - finished the ¼-mile in only 10.85 seconds and was clocked at 114.01 mph. Conditions at the track were hot and sticky and this was the Nytro's best run of the day. With a few minor adjustments, Woody's expects to do even better in the ¼-mile. Woody's, and dozens of other aftermarket companies, dealers, independent racers and OEM representatives, will be showcasing all their newest muscle at the AmSnow/Torco Race Fuels Shoot-Out.
