WSA recently announced that the opening round of the Midwest Regional circuit (the Hilltop Sports/Polaris Classic) will now be held in Grand Rapids, Minnesota at the Itasca County Fairgrounds, rather than the original location, Quadna Mountain Resort in Hill City, Minnesota. Only the location will change, the date will remain December 5-6, 1998.
WSA adds new sponsors to its circuits as Black Magic, High Tech Posi-Track, Goodwin Performance, Body By Northstar, Holeshot Products and Metcalf Performance climb on board.
