The SPEED network will telecast 20 hours of television coverage of the 2006-2007 WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour. Each event will be telecast in one-hour Saturday timeslots at 2 p.m. EST, followed by a re-air of the telecast the following Thursday in midday or early afternoon timeslots. SPEED begins its coverage Dec. 9, 2006 with a one-hour telecast from the AMSOIL Duluth National at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn, which is scheduled for Nov. 24, 2006. SPEED reaches nearly 71 million homes in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. "This year's television schedule will offer the most covrage in the history of our sport and will showcase what Snocross racing is all about," said Robert Eckert, SPEED VP of Programming.
The Tour is also pleased to welcome back last season's television production company, Winnercomm.
