The WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour wrapped up this past weekend at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa. TJ Gulla won Sunday's Pro Open final, Blair Morgan came in second on a Ski-Doo, and Polaris' Ross Martin came in third. For points, Wisconsin's Ross Martin grabbed the Pro Open points title in qualifying, finishing the weekend with 559, second was Ryan Simons with 514 and third was TJ Gulla with 509 points. Martin grabbed his title officially during the second round of qualifying, after which he held a 44-point lead on Ryan Simons (Speedwerx/Arctic Cat). With just 35 points available in the third round and the final, Martin earned his first Pro title.
Gulla (Pirtek/Polaris) earned the Pro Stock points title early Sunday, and just cruised in the final. Coming in second was Blair Morgan (Blair Morgan Racing/Ski-Doo), getting his third Pro Open podium of the season. Martin (Judnick Motorsports/Polaris) came in third. The top finishers for the Pro Stock final were Blair Morgan, followed by Ryan Simons in second and Carl Schubitzke in third.
In the Pro Women's class, Kylie Abrahamson ran strong to win the season points title, giving Polaris all three WPSA Pro points titles for the season.
Katejun Coonishish (DooTalk.com/Ski-Doo) swept things up by winning the Semi-Pro Open final. He also won Saturday's Semi-Pro Stock final. Cory Davis (Speedwerx/Arctic Cat) came in second in the Semi-Pro Open final and grabbed the overall title by a single point. Brett Bender (Pirtek/Polaris) came in second, and Brett Turcotte (Blair Morgan Racing/Ski-Doo) was third in points.
The Nielsen Enterprises Grand Finale represented the 10th and final round of the 2006-2007 PowerSports Snowmobile Tour. The Tour will return to action on April 27 with its sister series the PowerSports ATV Tour.
