Winter X Games 11 invitational race has been added to the Snocross Iceland event. The race is scheduled for April 1, 2006 in Egilsstadir, Iceland. It is a special non-points race open to all WPSA competitors. The event will mark the first invitational event for Winter X Games 11, being held at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen/Snowmass, Colo. on Jan. 25-28, 2007.
The annual Winter X Games is the premier winter action sports event in the world, featuring athletes from across the globe competing for medals and prize money in the following sports: Moto X, Skiing, Snowboard and SnoCross. The Winter X Games 11 will air live on ESPN and ABC and will feature nighttime events.
The Nielsen Enterprises Grand Finale is the next national race for the PowerSports Snowmobile Tour, and is scheduled for March 17-19, at the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa in Lake Geneva, Wis. The event is the 10th and final event on the 2005-2006 Tour, and it will determine both the Pro Open and the Pro Stock Championships.
