wpsa powersports snowmobile tour announces 10race 20062007 schedule

On June 26, 2006, the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour announced it will sanction 10 races at 8 venues during the 2006-2007 Snocross season. The schedule, which is organized geographically, will tentatively feature two double championship weekends at venues to be announced.

"We have received feedback from our teams, riders and our fans expressing the need to have races move geographically throughout North America, so we organized the schedule accordingly. The schedule starts in the Midwest, moves into the Northeast and then moves out West to Montana with the finale in Wisconsin," said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. president Scott O'Malley.

Schedule is as follows:

Nov. 24-25 / AMSOIL Duluth Championship / Duluth, Minn.
Dec. 16-17 / Michigan Championship / Gaylord, Mich.
Jan. 13-14 / Air Force Canterbury Championship / Shakopee, Minn.
Jan. 24-28 / Winter X Games 11, Special Non-Points Event / Aspen/Snowmass, Colo.
Feb. 10-11 / Eastern Championship / Vernon, N.Y.
Feb. 17-18 / Ski-Doo Grand Prix de Valcourt / Valcourt, Quebec
Feb. 23-25 / Eagle River Championship / Eagle River, Wis.
March 10-11 / West Yellowstone Snow Blast Championship / West Yellowstone, Mont.
March 16-18 / Nielsen Enterprises Grand Finale Championship / Lake Geneva, Wis.
