The World PowerSports Association says it will feature a 300cc Championship Class again for the 2006-2007 season on the WPSA Snowmobile Championship Tour.
Throughout the years there has always been an awkward transition from the small Kitty Cat and 120cc machines to the full-size sleds and the WPSA is hoping to highlight a better transition - the 300s - by keeping the 300cc class a Championship Class. "The 300cc Class is an excellent bridge between the 120 Champs Class and our larger displacement snowmobiles in the Junior Classes," said Kent Lungstrom, WPSA's executive vice president of operations.
There will be 10 stops on the WPSA Snowmobile Tour this year and it all starts at the AMSOIL Duluth Championship at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minn., Nov. 24-26. For more info visit
