winter xgames snocross on abc

WSA has announced that the 4th Annual ESPN Winter X-Games will be held at the Mount Snow Resort in Vermont this year. Also, ABC has signed on to show some in-depth coverage of the snocross races on ABC's Wide World of Sports. This will be in addition to the ESPN and ESPN2 coverage for the Winter X-Games.
This marks the first significant snowmobile racing coverage for ABC's Wide World of Sports since Peter Jennings covered the World Championship Derby at Eagle River 30 years ago.
The snocross schedule will be modified to accommodate the network coverage. Practice will now be held Wednesday and Thursday, February 2-3. The preliminary and final rounds will all be held the same day, Friday, February 4.
