The American Snowmobiler test crew just returned from the annual Photo & Test Session which was held in West Yellowstone this season. Our crew spent four days taking photos, talking to factory representatives and test riding key models on an 11-mile test course that reflected a combination of Midwestern and Eastern style trails.
We derived our main riding impressions from mile long speed bursts down an airport runway and evaluations over the 11-mile test course. Some of us enjoyed riding "outside the box" when we ran a 15-mile long lake and played in deep snow.
Over the course of the next week, we'll be publishing our firsthand impressions of what we thought was the best of a surprisingly good crop of new sleds for 2002. Stay tuned!
