You can never keep Henry Bieda down, after learning that 18-year-old Henrik Lodin of Sweden had outskipped his waterskipping record last October, Bieda was already forming his plan to regain his claim and do something to help others at the same time.
Henry's 6-year-old grandson Evan and 8-year-old granddaughter Peyton both have Type I (Juvenile) Diabetes. More and more children and adults alike are being diagnosed with the disease due to a combination of lifestyle and environmental factors.
You can help the campaign against Diabetes by donating toward Juvenile Diabetes Research by Saturday June 16, 2007, the date Henry will set forth to regain the Snowmobile Waterskipping World's Record that he had previously held since 1989. The fundraising goal is $20,000.
