video review sled vision films alticity 3

Do not ever make this mistake, watch a snowmobile video once and cast judgment. I have watch A.3. three times in order to give a fair review.
This movie starts out with a comical scene on a street corner that sets the mood for this movie that it is light hearted. Those who produce this and the previous Altcicty flicks are laid back folk; A.3. testifies of their genera.
The DVD continues through its beginning with a music that resembles Native American and Celtic; way neat as it compliments the scenery pasted in front of your eyes.
The movie gives powder riders all they need, lots of Pow Pow on the hoods and in the face.
A.3. returns with the familiar Ogden brothers who give every mountain they ride a pop across its face. One of the boys on a Boondockers and Starting Line Products equipped 800 RMK Vert Edge defeats Mt. Jefferson's Yahoo chute (Island Park, Idaho). Not an easy feat.
A.3. does not discriminate against any type of rider. Not many still consider a Yamaha a great ride for the steep-n-deep - the Alticity film crew always seems to find one or two who throttle ol' Blue.
Viewers will also be treated to a long tracked Ski-Doo REV MXZ that flies true and flat as it pitches itself through some long rainbows. The scenes expose how perfect the REV is in balance.
Alticity has a rider named Alex who lives somewhere on the fringes of controlled insanity. He tries a to bust out a back flip. Now, I have ridden with this man and have watched his work and have seen other crashes - he is very capable. Well, his back flip went awry. He tumbles down onto the snow with his ride spitting down on his back. You will feel his pain. Watch it.
Also, a legless wonder names Roger "Tory" Jones appears on the flick with his Tison. Don't let his condition fool ya. He can ride and inspire.
New in this release is a road trip up through Russia, Norway, Sweden and beyond that is National Geographic in a Gen-X and redneck snowmobiler way. I like the footage and was truly envious of the road trip. Even I want to go.
True with any old baby boomer like me who watches sled flicks, I kinda have to suffer through the music, but at times, A.3. surprised me with some good stuff.
