Dynoport's 800 XC SP won the Dynotech Quiet Giant Award in the medium displacement class for delivering the best performance with the least noise. It covered the first 60 feet of the track in 1.6 seconds. At the 660-foot beams, the mod sled registered 88.41 mph in 7.295 seconds. At the 100-foot traps, Daly's Polaris hit 95.54 mph in 9.848 seconds. The stock sled recorded 94.74 mph in 9.999 seconds. It went from 0 to 30 mph in 1.48 seconds and 0 to 60 mph in 3.35 seconds.
"We were chasing something all day with that sled," Daly explained. "In our testing it easily hit 100 miles per hour. I'm not sure what the problem was."
Dynoport's MX Z 800 ran the first 60 feet in 1.517 seconds, compared to the stock MX Z's 1.706. At the 660 foot lights, it had hit 91.84 mph in 6.989 seconds. The stocker needed 7.337 seconds to reach the same point, only recording 90.91 mph. At the 1000-foot finish line, the modified MX had posted 99.12 mph in 9.395 seconds. The stock sled's top speed at 1000 feet was 97.12 mph. The Dynoport sled went from 0 to 30 mph in 1.17 seconds and 0 to 60 mph in 2.68 seconds.
