The heart of a snowmobile is its engine. We know that!
We also know that an engine burns gasoline, with oxygen's assistance, to move a sled across the snow. We know too that torque and horsepower are numbers derived from calculations that characterize the engine's output.
But, and it's a big one, us 'bilers' often confuse what torque and horsepower are, and how they relate.
Let's take a look at the basics, but hang on, because this stuff sounds like high-school physics class.
