Performance Event Promotions received confirmation of Toni Haikonen's participation at the Indoor Super Snow Cross events for the 2001 Tour.
"Toni Haikonen and our company have reached an agreement, though at this time we are not releasing the brand he will be on, we will debut it at the Metrodome event on January 26th, 2001," states the factory representative for this new team. A deal has been confirmed with Toni and he has expressed confidence that he has found a manufacturer that he will work well with.
"Toni Haikonen first made an appearance in North America back in 1994 at one of our outdoor events on the CSRA circuit," commented Race Director Ken Avann, "He played a big part in bringing snocross racing to where it is today. We are very excited about having him involved in the indoor series."
Toni Haikonen will be available at the Metrodome event for the Pro Pit walk through session along with other factory personnel, and will be available for questions, comments, and autographs.
