You might not think it with the high October temperatures lately, but the Farmer's Almanac is predicting a colder than normal winter for North America, with more snow! It is expected that there will be a change from last year.
So, this season has the potential to provide you with more opportunities to get you out there on the trails and Take a Friend Snowmobiling!
Snowmobile manufacturers Go Snowmobiling research for ISMA shows that non-snowmobilers have an extremely strong desire to go snowmobiling, all you have to do is ask! As a matter of fact, when asked how they would rate their desire to go snowmobiling, non-snowmobilers across the snowbelt reported an interest of 9 on a scale of 1-10.
Encourage your friends to join snowmobile clubs and associations. Many snowmobile associations are planning special rides where they will invite non-snowmobilers for a snowmobile ride through this campaign initiated by ISMA and the International Snowmobile Media Council. Some clubs and associations are already inviting local politicians and news media (radio, TV and print) to Go Snowmobiling. The best way to explain WHY we snowmobile is to actually Take a Friend Snowmobiling.
Get your friends to smile with you, instead of frown, when they hear about a blizzard coming.
