The Woody's Triple Crown winner was announced after a close race on March 7 at Beausejour, Manitoba.

The final race in the WSA Formula Open class finished in almost a three-way tie after Terry Wahl, Brian Rydeen and Gary Moyle crossed the line within seconds of each other. After official scoring was completed, Terry Wahl was declared the winner with Gary Moyle in second and Brian Rydeen in third.
