It works with an avalanche backpack or regular backpack and has optional shoulder pads. A drink hose is standard in the sleeve. A D-Ring for a tether cord and 360-degree Quick-Release Waist Belt is standard. The pack comes with an emergency whistle built-in. A rear armor panel was removed to increase air flow and the pack is neck brace friendly. An optional mountain pack, including ride stability and waterproof zipper system, is available for $139.
