team industries signs levi lavallee to its pro snocross team

Semi-pro racer Levi LaVallee stepped up to the Pro ranks as newly signed Pro racer for TEAM Industries Racing last weekend at the Park X Regional Snocross in Hill City, MN. LaVallee launched his pro career with a second place finish in the Pro 600 and a fourth in the Pro-Open.
During his Semi-Pro career last year LaValle had seven victories to his credit before sustaining an injury that would prevent his return. His strong performance at Park X however, revealed Levi is not only fully recovered, but ready to compete at the Pro level racing for TEAM Industries. TEAM race manager Bob Bohman commented on signing LaValle, "Based on how we saw Levi compete last year, we feel he's more than ready to compete at the pro level, he made an excellent showing this past weekend."
The Crapo brothers were both sidelined after unfortunate injuries at Duluth. Shaun Crapo's recovery is progressing faster than expected. Shaun was leading qualifier in Duluth and captured a third place podium finish in the Stock class. During the Pro-Open races, he landed too hard after a downhill double, suffering a spiral fracture to his right fibula. Doctors advised him earlier this week that removing the rigid cast and wearing a soft ankle brace would be best for quicker recovery and muscle tone. X-rays confirmed the spiral fracture is healing and keeping the muscle tissue in shape is vital. The younger Crapo brother expects to return to racing in mid-January, provided he is fully recovered.
Kurtis Crapo, who suffered a knee injury at the Duluth races, is scheduled for surgery this week. Kurtis tore the ACL, medial and lateral meniscus and also suffered a posterior lateral corner injury to his knee. Doctors are convinced he'll make a full recovery, but only after several months of rehabilitation. Kurtis commented about the injury and racing for TEAM Industries, "I've never been so confident or happy with a team, and with the set-ups on the sleds… I'm totally devastated that this has happened, but, I'm not going to let it get me down."
