Arctic Cat racers collected more podiums in the Pro classes than any Team Green squad has in years this season. Semi-Pro riders came out well too, and Cat was well-represented in the Junior and Sport classes.
The Pros leading the way for Arctic Cat were Ryan Simons, Tucker Hibbert, Garth Kaufman and Carl Schubitzke. Simons supplemented his pair of National series wins with 8 podiums, tied for second-most on the circuit. He also finished second in both Pro-class points races and was crowned the WPSA's "Pro Racer of the Year."
Hibbert won 4 National events and came home with the gold at the ESPN Winter X Games.
Garth Kaufman was named "Pro Rising Star," and Jeff Snow was named "Pro Rookie of the Year."
Cat racers accounted for more than 40% of the Semi-Pro podiums on the National series. Dan Ebert earned "Semi-Pro Racer of the Year," and Cory Davis received "Semi-Pro Rising Star."
Cat racers in both Junior and Sport classes claimed 40% of all National series top-threes.
Looking forward to 2007-08, Arctic Cat will unveil a new, 600cc race machine, we can only wait to see how this Cat will perform.
