team arctic racer recognized for good deed

Seventeen-year-old Team Arctic snocross racer, Forest Neill earned commendation for his actions in rescuing an injured snowmobiler. The Vermont native brought the young woman to safety where an emergency crew could be reached.

Forest was honored with a letter from Vermont Governor Howard Dean, praising him for his efforts.

Neill was named Rookie of the Year in the sport division for the 1998-1999 Rock Maple Racing Circuit snocross season.
