Q:I am the proud owner of a 2002 Arctic Cat ZR 800 and am wondering if I can still use the stock 800 CDI box it came with in conjuction with a 900 top end. - 81mmcat
A:There should be no issues with using the 800 ignition box with a 900 top end. We have built plenty of the 900,1010,1050 and 1080 big bores and have used the original ignitions. With the increased piston diameter you may find that you will need more ignition timing unless you run a higher compression ratio or a twin pipe setup. - dyna-tek racing
