Q: With a Ski-Doo TRA clutch do you gear (chaincase) to the 1:1 or .83:1 (clutch ratio) when picking gearing to run 660 feet?

I guess what I'm saying is, will the TRA fully shift out in 660 feet or should I gear my speed to the 1:1 ratio (on the clutches). - tjc

A: If geared properly the TRA will shift out fully on any drag surface as long as conditions let it happen. I would still gear for a 1:1 ratio on the clutches as both the primary and secondary run more efficient at that ratio. - Dyna-Tek Racing
