snowmobile hall of fame bags 100000 challenge gift

Amsnow
The Snowmobile Hall of Fame in St. Germain, Wis., has received a major challenge gift to help it expand its facility.

The Jim Warning family of New Lenox, Ill., made a challenge donation of $100,000 to the Hall of Fame's museum building fund. This means that for every dollar donated to the fund, up to $100,000, The Warning family will match the donation.

Expansion of the building is to include museum space, offices and a gift shop. The Hall of Fame expects the first phase of the project to cost about $330,000. About $90,000 of the work - including land, site preparation, roads, utilities and drawings - already has been completed. Phase 2 is set to include a "great hall," an expanded gift shop, lobby, theater and themed restaurant.

To make a donation to the building fund, contact the Snowmobile Hall of Fame at
