Sept. 30, 2004- - The board of directors of the Snowmobile Hall of Fame in St. Germain, Wis., has announced the four inductees for 2005.
The inductees are: Dave Wahl, Durmont Wahl, Myron Herrick and Ted Otto.
Dave Wahl from Greenbush, Minn., has been one of the top competitors in snowmobile racing for years.
Durmont Wahl, also from Greenbush, is part of the successful Wahl Brothers dynasty and one of the sport's top technicians. Durmont is known for being a leader in racing design and technology, while also serving as team wrench and team manager for a successful racing team.
Myron Herrick from Minocqua, Wis., is the founder and first president of the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs. He's known for leading the way and showing how clubs and associations can function at both the local and state level.
Ted Otto from Anaheim, Calif., is one of the creators of the famous "Polaris Thrill Team" marketing effort. Ted has a lifetime of leadership accomplishments in snowmobiling, including leadership in the U.S. Snowmobile Association.
