Snowmaking began on Halloween night at Spirit Mountain, and it will continue leading up to the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour AMSOIL Duluth National. The Nov. 24-26, 2007 Snocross race is the season opener for the Tour. The event will be telecast on SPEED on Saturday, December 9th at 2 p.m. EST, and will re-air on Thursday, December 14th at 2 p.m. Snow up to 12 feet deep has already been created, and an estimated total of 16,000 tons of snow will be created for the event. That's a lot of white stuff!
