The Sno Pro Cats were the longest racing sleds Cat had built to thattime. They measured 100 inches from ski tip to snowflap. They had a one-piecefiberglass cowling which covered a choice of liquid-cooled Kawasaki powerplants.The heaviest sled weighed in at 335 pounds.

Cat spent several years and more than $300,000 developing its racingpowertrain of engine, clutch, carburation and track.

A Cat spokesman said, "It promises to be the most exciting and professional year in the history of snowmobile racing."
