slednecks shifts emphasis to gear and apparel

This may not be news to many sledders, but what started as just a backcountry extreme snowmobiling video company (Slednecks) is now, for the most part, a gear and apparel company first and video company second.

Slednecks founder Jason Moriarty is making a strong push to focus more on its alternatively styled clothing. The new duds are front and center on the many Sledneck sponsored riders in their videos and include several outerwear lines, as well as casual wear, hoodies, T-shirts, hats, Monster Energy branded activewear, women’s and youth sportswear and more. The Slednecks are now sponsoring motorcyle riders too!

The look and rider mantra seems to be an anti-establishment, alternative, rebel code, but in talking with Moriarty he says personality is more central to those buying Slednecks gear. He says all the Slednecks are deeply concerned about the sport and important snowmobile issues and wants to see sledding grow in new, creative directions. More info: www.slednecks.com
