67-year-old Henry Bieda gave it his all on Saturday, June 16th, but windy weather fouled his Guiness record attempt at traveling the longest distance over water on a snowmobile. The rough water and a few mechanical problems didn't make for a very long ride.
Though he didn't break the record, he still raised money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - a disease afflicting two of his grandchildren. To find out more and how you can help, visit
