sled sales drive polaris profits

Increased snowmobile sales and sales of specialized clothes, parts and accessories helped Polaris Industries to its best ever third quarter revenues.
Net income was up 10 percent for the quarter. The new sled models and sales of accessories to customize the sleds was said to be responsible for most of the rise in sales.
ATV sales were the only segment at Polaris failing to show a gain as revenues from that product line were flat despite additional promotions and programs to bolster sales.
With sled sales as a highlight, it sounds like winter is back at Polaris.
