There will be two race school locations, an East and a Midwest, and cost is $75 per attendee. Registration and reservations are required in advance. The registration form is available for download from the Racer Resources page of the Ski-Doo 24/7 section of www.ski-doo.com.

The sled
The Ski-Doo MX Z X 600RS has plenty of new changes for 2009.

2008 was the first year that this sled was really tested on the new REV-XP platform. The brains at Valcourt Engineering and the Race Shop Team have enhanced rider control, handling, suspension and durability for 2009.

"Our goal was to make the snowmobile easier to race - for both the driver and their mechanics," said Ski-Doo Director of Marketing Francois Tremblay. "The changes reflect our priorities of easier handling, better cornering and better suspension at race speeds - along with the need for extreme durability to keep racing costs lower. Many of the changes were also the result of direct feedback from X-Team racers and mechanics, from SuperTeams to the grassroots."
