March 15, 2004 - - Ski-Doo announced today that it will partner with Burton Snowboards as a part of its effort to expand its product line and appeal to snowboarders.

For the partnership, Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) will provide Burton's team riders with two 2005 Summit-REV 800 HO 151-inch tracked snowmobiles. BRP also will award two 2005 Summit Adrenaline 600 HO sleds as prizes at the US Open Snowboarding Championships this weekend at Stratton Mountain, Vt.

Burton, based in Burlington, Vt., is a snowboard equipment and apparel company that was started in 1977 and is well known for its Learn to Ride and Open Snowboarding Championships programs.

Earlier this year Ski-Doo introduced the Freestyle, a new, highly maneuverable lightweight sled that's aimed at the snowboarder market and younger riders.
