Ski-Doo also is upping the number of sleds on its smaller RF chassis and giving more options this year including a new 4-stroke engine.
RF Chassis Sleds
Last year Ski-Doo introduced the Freestyle (now called Freestyle Session) and Tundra machines on the RF chassis. In '07 there's several new RF sleds. Ski-Doo offers two new Freestyle models, the Park and the Backcountry, along with the Legend Trail, Legend Touring and Expedition Sport for a total of seven machines on the RF chassis.
A new 550cc fan engine is now available in the RF chassis, along with a spring-option electronic reverse. The 550 comes with a widened 39-inch ski stance, while the original 32-inch stance stays on the 300cc machines. There's only a 40 lb. difference between the two engine choices as the 550 tops out at 410 lbs. dry.
Possibly the coolest new sled from Ski-Doo is the Freestyle Park with the 550 fan powerplant and widened 39-inch ski stance. It's the best handling RF chassied sled AND the Park 550 weighs in at just 410 lbs.
The new Back Country comes with a 550 fan and 136-inch track.
Spring Sleds
The Mach Zx comes with fiery new red graphics, windshield, painted A-arms and custom-stitched seat. It gets upgraded shocks and many other options.
For all the wanna-be-racers Ski-Doo also offers an MXZx Racing Special this year.
Renegade X will also be available with your choice of the 1000 SDI, a new 800 H.O. PowerTEK or the 600 H.O. SDI powerplant.
Newest for the Season
The big in season news is the MXZ Blizzard. You've got your choice of either the new 800 H.O. PowerTEK or the 600 H.O. SDI engines in this new all white machine.
