Summit continues to evolve, like the trail sleds, and there are some handling and suspension changes for all models in 2010 to help ease steering and improve ride.

The new handling package with a softer sway bar, 35mm longer center shock, reshaped rails, new rocker arm and new shock calibration all around is standard on all models. Plus all Summits now come with a new X seat that's narrower (.75 in.) and taller (1.25 in.) than the 2009 model's seat.
For 2010 Summit comes in two trims, Everest and Sport. Everest offers two engine choices, the 800R and 600 E-TEC, along with three track lengths, 146-, 154- and 163-inchers, aimed at suiting various mountain bashers' needs.

The Everest keeps its Pilot 6.9 skis and adjustable (38-40 inch) ski stance, plus it offers HPG shocks, which is an upgrade from the base, Sport model. Tucked in back is the SC-5M rear suspension and its track remains the lightweight PowderMax with 2.25-inch lugs.

The Sport model is a value leader for the Canadian sledmaker and features Ski-Doo's proven carbureted 600cc liquid-cooled engine. It also includes the new handling package, revised steering and narrow seat and rides on a 146-inch single-ply track with 2-inch lugs.

BNG? Sure, this year the Summits are offered in a new bright blue over black paint scheme that should stand out on any mountain.
