savage on sleds webilicious
Amsnow
We know that not ALL snowmobilers are Web jockeys. Most of us would rather be outside working, or better, hunkered down in the garage or shop prepping a sled, or some other motorized beast, for action.
But a lot of us also enjoy talking and reading about snowmobiles, racing and related snow topics 24/7. That's why years ago, back when the initials WWW made us all think of a wrestling federation, AmSnow created one of the first Web sites for snowmobilers, www.AmSnow.com.
We're still here, and each passing week we upgrade the site for you to enjoy, year-round. In fact, in season there are daily news updates and blogs on the site, plus the most active forums in the industry. Sure, a few folks wander off topic from time to time, and we have to reign them in, but we aim to bring you SNOWMOBILING info, not the latest political rant or a drawn- out discussion of why someone dislikes their local McDonald's drivethrough attendant.
Forums are a blast, and a great place to get tech advice too. We even offer our Ask the Experts forum there.
But there is SO MUCH MORE! Take the time to look at the entire site because there's content galore on there and it's all FREE to SUBSCRIBERS!
Free?
Yes AmSnow.com offers free info on many topics to all snowmobilers, but SUBSCRIBERS get FREE access to EVERYTHING on AmSnow.com including:
• Our giant story vault (info going back to 1990 in some cases). That's hundreds of AmSnow sled reviews, dyno tests, comparisons, vintage sled reports ... you name it!)
• Our exclusive interactive Buyers Guide. Here you can compare side-by-side four sleds and their specs, all the way back to 1997.
• Subscriber Sled Reviews. This is another Buyers Guide feature, just for subscribers.
• Online Xtra stories, photos and videos. All again are just for subscribers.
So Register Now! It's simple for subscribers. Just go to www.AmSnow.com and click on "Register" in the gray Subscriber&Member Login box on the home page's far right. Click the "I am a Magazine Subscriber" link on the next page and simple instructions there will get you signed in.
Hint: Have a recent copy of your magazine handy, it'll have your secret decoder ring number (I.E. subscriber number) for you to enter. Then BINGO, you're registered!
P.S. Yes, I know I look like BRAINIAC in this pic, but hey, don't those mountains in the background look awesome?
