Indiana's Buddy Pawloski is the winner of Polaris' first design-your-own graphics Ccntest.
The contest began a year ago and contestants could design whatever graphic they desired on a blank sled palette. Votes could be submitted online and fans narrowed it down to three options including Buddy's "Ripped Metal" design, a "Star" graphic and "Winter Camo" creation. Buddy's concept won and he will receive a new 2007 model sled with his design on it and a trip to see his sled being built in Polaris' Roseau, Minn., facility.
Eric Lindquist, general manager of Polaris Snowmobiles, said, "We were overwhelmed with the response to this contest and while all of the finalist's concept's would have made great looking sleds, we're thrilled with our customer's choice."
The new graphic sled will be unveiled at Haydays in Lino Lakes, Minn., on Sept. 10.
