Last season, the Ski-Doo® X-Team® racers won more than 50 percent of season class championships on the major race circuits. And while last year is a hard act to follow, Ski-Doo® is hoping to do even better this year, said Ski-Doo® Race Marketing and Communications Manager Steve Cowing.

The race staff spent most of the off-season keeping together its group of record-setting racers.

"The market for quality, fast racers is getting more competitive every year," Cowing said. "But we were able to keep most of our guys in the fold, and in some cases, added great talent."

In the WSA National circuit the Ski-Doo® X-Team® re-signed Blair Morgan Racing and its racers for three more years.

In CSRA National, A.J. Lester is returning to Lester Racing after missing most of last season due to a serious leg injury. Seasoned Pro rider Noel Kohanski and Semi-Pro rider Matt Turner also joined the team.

Extreme Racing, the top Ski-Doo® team in the Rock Maple Racing circuit, will be returning double champion Simon Belzile in the Pro class, and Jeff Arsenault and Derek Roy in the Semi-Pro class.

Ski-Doo® veteran Mark Thompson will return as the head of the hillclimb racing team. This year the team will get a boost by racing stock Summit®-REV sleds.
