Does it fire?There were a lot of skeptics wondering if this concept would actually run. I first saw the Radical Radial at the Hall of Fame in St. Germain and when Paul cranked it up using its small block Chevy starter, the engine fired up and purred like a kitten. The sound emanating through the five exhaust outlets behind the seat put smiles on everyone's face when the engine was revving up.
Brad accomplished his objective; this Radical Radial is a show stopper and a real spectator magnet. When he brought it to the World of Wheels show in Chicago this spring even old automotive veterans who thought they had seen everything gathered around to admire the sled.
George Barris, the Hollywood Custom King and maker of TV's Batmobile and numerous other flashy hot rods, had to check it out and even added his signature to the hood as his stamp of approval.
Brad and Paul plan to show their masterpiece at a number of Vintage and Custom events in the coming seasons, and if you have a chance to see it, just wait until they fire it up. You won't be able to stop grinning!
