The WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour will showcase two double national races for its professional classes during the 2006-2007 season. The Air Force Canterbury Snocross (Jan. 12-14, 2007) and the Eagle River National Snocross (Feb. 23-25, 2007) will feature two complete Pro Open and Pro Stock events with separate points for each race. Semi-Pro and Amateur classes will run a single event during the weekends.
The announcement brings the total number of Pro events on the 2006-2007 slate to 10, along with the special non-points Winter X Games 11, scheduled for Jan. 25-28 at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen Snowmass, Colo.
The Air Force Canterbury Snocross will take place at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minn.
